Hi all

The RFID team met again this arvo, to review and refine some floorplan ideas.   A number of ideas were discussed, discarded, discussed, discarded.... you get the idea!   Lots of things to consider!    Thank you once again to those staff who either submitted their own floor plan idea to the group, and for the suggestions and comments that have been sent our way.

A floor plan is in the works, and we all felt that a welcoming open plan reading / lounge type area would create a warm, relaxed vibe to the library.  We are also looking into have the Request Shelf and New / Interesting Books to be located somewhere near the entrance of the library.
All of these things need to be looked into in more detail and professional measurements need to be taken to see if these ideas are viable.  We are hoping to have a floorplan for your consideration, to be presented to you all very soon.
