It's begun......


Yep... it's all go today!   The RFID Project team along with a couple of staff from the Collections team  (Kristina & Angela) met with FE Technologies today!

We were shown how to encode / tag stock using the conversion trolley.  The conversion trolley is what we will be using to tag the existing collection.

There is also a smaller table-top encoding pad that will be placed by the Black Box Returns area. As of November, all outgoing black box stock will need to have a tag.  We will be able to use the table-top encoding pad to tag any stock that hasn't already been tagged by other libraries.

There was much buzz & excitement in the group as after the demonstration, some of us also got to 'have a go' encoding /tagging.   It's all pretty straight forward and easy to use!
