Some points of note from the last week include that both retro trolleys have had a tiny part (hilariously called a 'choke') applied, which means that you will no longer have issues with it recognising a tag in range and then still seeking endlessly for it when it has been removed. This means you can quickly and easily tag AV on both trolleys now with no issues at all!

The one at Unley has been configured on Rachel's PC, so techies you can use this under anyone's logon (or even use the 'Switch User' function when Rachel is away from her PC and login as civiclib). It is configured to encode everything with the 'AU-SA: SUL' Unley Libraries code, so you don't ever have to mess about with this setting - another yay!
The reason it is on only one PC is because there is a bunch of drivers and software that have to be installed in the background to make it work. For example, when FE Tech remotely connected in this morning, it took an hour to setup just that one Circ Assistant! The aim is to get the additional one at Goodwood installed and working this Wednesday.
Our retro tagging is also kicking along at a great rate now. Go random acts of tagging! The lovely junior shelvers, Jess and Elli, are also helping us with our great tagging project during thier school holidays, so you will see more and more of them around the collections. So if you are around the place they may ask you a tagging question, so please help them out if they need it - they are total legends, quick workers and very fast on the uptake.
