Turn the page and cover me!

Just a reminder to please *not* stick RFID tags on the pages of book/mag items. The tags really prefer the feel of smooth cardboard on their sticky backings, rather than gritty paper.

Okay, no, that's not the real reason... pages can be easily removed thereby rendering the item security useless and taking away the ability for items to be issued/returned/located once we are RFID operational. Let's not share that in front of the customers though please (as well as not cutting tags or talking about cutting tags).

So if you can make sure you please stick tags on the cover as shown in the diagram stuck on the retro trolleys. In the case of board books that have a story on inside cover so you just can't stick a tag over it, just use common sense and put it on the back cover near the spine.
