We are super lucky in our library to work along side a slew of fantastic casual staff members. They're on the ball, care about our library service and really do a great job.
The time has come to start teaching the casuals how to 'RFID' (it's a verb I swear!)
| 'put your hand up with glee, do the RFID!' ...anyone? |
ANYWAY, now that you are all RFID ninjas, we would love you to help teach our casuals on the customer service desk. If there's a quiet moment, take a minute to separate the items needed for tagging, show them how the retrospective tagging trolley works or take them out to the black box computer and show them the little circ assistant out there.
There's plenty of opportunities on desk when there's a quiet moment to run through these processes.
Tagging our items is fun and if we can all get in on it together, we'll be done in no time!
Also remember that there is the added bonus of finding a very sweet heart note in the back of a book. If you collect 3, then you can choose a gift from a large selection upstairs at Goodwood. Yay!
If you have any queries, or would like an extra run through yourself, please contact any of the RFID Project team members (Caitlin, Kate, Martine, Louise, Rachel or Cortesse)
Cheers,
Caitlin
