It's what's on the inside that counts!

Thanks to a great idea from Kristie, we are now keeping 2 or 3 spare receipt rolls inside all of the LED halo RFID kiosks. That way if one runs out you need only grab both the kiosk keys, open the top lock, grab a roll out and use the bottom key to flip the flap open and place the new roll in the printer. Will be quick as flash as far as the customer notices. Yay for efficiencies!

Then we can restock the roll stash inside the kiosks during quiet STAR moments... or maybe we might incorporate this quick task into LIB ADMIN. Food for thought... we'll see how it goes but please feel free to add a comment to this post if you have an opinion on roll restocking times based on your STAR experiences.
