Once this becomes a habit, it will take only a second and you'll do it on auto pilot. But how, you ask? For those who aren't already embracers of it, the trick is a simple dual keystroke: Windows + L.
This just means pressing the Windows key...you know the one either side of the space bar and and Alt keys?
At the same time as the L key, like so...
It's quick, it's simple and it's secure!
Taking a leaf from Cortesse's book, maybe you can use a little mind trick to remember it such as:
- L for lock
- W + L = Windows Lock
- W + L = Will Leave
- W + L = Walk and Lock
