Your RFID team have spent many hours pouring over the details of all things RFID, and we are getting closer to the finish line. Hooray!
However, there is much work still needing to be done, in fact things are hotting up so to speak, and deadlines are fast on our heels.
Your RFID team are needing support from all of the library team. Please have a think of each of your areas and with the upcoming transition and temporary closures for the refurbishments. Are there any considerations that may need to be taken into account?
You are welcome to work in collaboration with the team to help achieve whatever needs to be done.
The RFID project team have put together a Project Action Plan Task List of all the nitty gritty stuff that needs to happen for the transition to take place. It includes many things from working out Holds pickups whilst a branch is closed, clean-ups of desk & relocation of items, pop-up library service, promotions, rostering of staff and the list goes on. We hope we have covered all the bases!
Yep, it takes a village, and we all indeed belong to the same Library Village. Please remember to support each other! This is a huge project for all of us and we really need to help each other along the way... (and have some fun too!)Rachel & RFID team :)

I will work with Martine on setting up some training times for those who haven't yet used the Mobile Circ App for when you are rostered on a pop-up shift.
