It's bigger on the inside

For those who are fans of #howstuffworks, here are some shots of the inside of the RFID kiosk...

Can you see some familiar things in there?
That small black box in the centre with the orange sticker, the grey cable coming out the top and the blue light on the front is the PC! Compact but powerful.

Speakers at the top, a portrait mounted monitor inside the door, and a very familiar slip printer...
The Epson slip printers are just like the ones we use now, so changing the rolls will be too easy, and uses the same rolls we already purchase. We can just turn a key (or scan an Admin card) to flip open the front panel and place a new roll in. Sweet...

A naked RFID pad on the kiosk - amazing that something so simple makes all the magic happen!
Thanks to everyone who has been testing away and making notes. We have already implemented a bunch of stuff and we will attempt to implement as many more useful things as we can, but we are working with in the constrains of software and hardware so we cannot control everything. We'll attempt to add replies/notes to your comments as quickly as we can find out the info, so please check on checking back and playing more.

Unfortunately I don't have a photo of it, but our amazing volunteer Beth had a crack at the kiosk today as our first test customer and gave it her thumbs up!

Also note the hilarious trolleys we now have in place (thanks Martine). The icon on the screen that currently shows the red and green tubs will be changed to a charcoal trolley (similar to what we will be using).

So please keep testing away and getting acquainted with what will become your new customer experience best friend.
