Embracing these concepts will make sure that we all positively pitch in and support each other in order to achieve what is a brilliant end goal. This is especially important @ Unley while Goodwood Library is closed (and vice versa in a couple of weeks time!).
This includes simple things like keeping an eye on the incoming dexions and black boxes - if there are lots and the STAR crew are busy with customers, why not rally whoever is around and take it in turns to do a few boxes or dexions each? Hint: dexions take precedence as these items need to come off of customer's cards.
Or if you have been to Goodwood to empty the returns bin (those who will be performing this are across the process) and you still have time left after you arrive back @ Unley, why not jump in and help out with some returns?
Or during the 9AM to 10AM all-hands-on-deck time we have before we open, let's not just do the shelving and wander back to our work areas. Instead let's leverage our ability to achieve so much as a team and make sure that the black boxes and dexions are cleared, any items waiting for tagging are encoded, that there are lots of copies of the RFID communication materials available for customers and any other one of the million customer experience worthy tasks. It's amazing what we can smash out when we all report on deck without being summoned and use our well honed initiative to identify what needs doing.
So please just be RFID-mindful and prioritise the singular goal of service awesomeness. Go team!
