Well, can I tell you, nope it wasn't. It just wasn't massive it all. Thanks to the seriously freaking impressive functionality of our shiny new Sort Assistant we had all the dexions and all 27 boxes completed before 4:00 PM.
Yep, you read that correctly. We even smashed though 4 black boxes in one 30 minute period while still serving customers and getting used to the new equipment.

It was such a wonderful day. I had a blast and stayed on desk almost all day to get the hang of it and - just because it was so much fun. 98% of customers LOVED the new look and system and were really chatty. Can't wait for Unley!!
ReplyDeleteI too enjoyed getting around and about at Goodwood. So many people who walked through commented on how the library looks so much brighter and spacious! I had to get back to my usual afternoon shift at Unley which felt so mundane. You can certainly feel the difference.
