Recap : What’s happening & when!
This week – RFID crew (Kate, Martine & Louise) – have been at Goodwood most of the week, overseeing much of the Goodwood reno, meeting with FE Technology people & training, install and many other behind the scenes stuff!
Saturday 7 May – RFID crew (Kate, Rachel, Cortesse) going to Goodwood – to setup Goodwood as much as possible.
On Monday 9 May as many staff as possible to go to Goodwood for RFID training.  See Roster when it comes out for details.  We will be able to process much of the accumulated Goodwood returns.  Great practice on the new machines!
Goodwood go Live on Tuesday 10 May 2016!
Soft launch happening at Goodwood - Background music, fruit, cake and tea and coffee from 10am for our customers.  Woo-hoo!

Unley Dates
Unley will be closed from 16 -29 May.
During Unley closure, Pop-Up Library – for Unley holds to be collected from the Council office Monday-Friday, 10-5.

RFID Launch at Unley on Monday, 30 May.—  At 2.30pm Mayor Lachlan Clyne will be giving a speech, as will Benjamin who is from FE Technology, our vendor.  From 1-4pm there will be a digital light & sound show, complimentary hot beverages from La Scala and also a special RFID cake.

Some other general stuff you may what to know!
New keys are being organised for the newly installed Staff Pod which will have a new cash drawer.  Staff will be issued with a new key.  New keys will be cut for the storage cupboard as well.
At the Self-Check Kiosks there will be new smaller trolleys.  The grey trolleys will be for stock belonging to our library. Cream-coloured trolleys will be for Exceptions such as HOLDs and IN-TRANSIT items.
The new security gates will have a door counter that is automated, no more having to get end of day numbers!
The door counter stats are recorded by the new software by the hour. What a dream for our stats queen!
